As far as South Africa is concerned, opener Laura Wolvaardt turned out to be the highest scorer for the Proteas team with 69 off 98 balls. She was involved in multiple influential partnerships. It was Poonam Yadav who struck for India in the 16th over and broke the opening stand worth 76 run.
While Jhulan Goswami was miserly in her quota of 10 overs, Shikha Pandey, Ekta Bisht and Poonam Yadav finished with a couple of wickets each.
