Coal scam case: Next hearing on 10 Dec
The charge framing is once again deferred in the high profile coal scam case in CBI Special Court in Asansol today as one of the main accused Bikash Mishra was not present in the court.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had also ordered for the transfer of the rape survivor’s uncle from Rae Bareli jail to Tihar jail in Delhi.
The Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi on Friday ordered that the transfer of accident case of Unnao rape survivor to Delhi be kept in abeyance for 15 days and will be heard in Lucknow until then.
It was on Thursday when the apex court had shifted the five cases related to Unnao rape to Delhi and had assigned a special judge to hear the matter on a daily basis.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today urged the apex court not to shift the accident case to Delhi as one of the arrested accused in the case has to be presented before a Judicial Magistrate in Lucknow.
