Sachin Tendulkar surprises fans by meeting Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey during his U.S. trip to promote cricket
Tendulkar, who retired in November 2013, scored 15,921 runs in Tests and 18,426 in ODIs, both of which remain records. Sachin is the only player in international cricket with 100 centuries.
Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar thanked his family, friends and fans after being inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame, alongside retired South Africa pacer Allan Donald and former Australia woman fast bowler Cathryn Fitzpatrick.

Tendulkar, who retired in November 2013, scored 15,921 runs in Tests and 18,426 in ODIs, both of which remain records. Sachin is the only player in international cricket with 100 centuries (51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs). He is the sixth Indian to be inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
“It is an honour to be inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, which cherishes the contribution of cricketers over generations. They have all contributed to the growth and popularity of the game and I am happy to have done my bit,” the 46-year-old had said at the induction ceremony which took place on Thursday.
