Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat on Tuesday visited the Holy Shrine of Vaishno Devi and paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum.
General Rawat also visited the Bhairon Temple through the passenger ropeway before departing for Katra.

General Rawat undertook the 13-km uphill trek to the cave shrine.
