The project was launched by Sachin Tendulkar in presence of Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Prajapati and Superintendent of Police Diwakar Sharma in Una on Monday.
Sachin Tendulkar said children’s education defines our country’s future and is a key to socio-economic development.

“I am delighted to be a part of this project,” he added.
The Model School Project aims to address the grass root level challenges faced by primary school students.
The program focuses on building latest educational infrastructure, school drop-out prevention, reading and literacy, creating sports facilities within schools and smart classes.
The program has also benefitted 1,000 students from career counselling sessions and leadership training programs.
