Congress president Rahul Gandhi alleged on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, K Chandrashekhar Rao and Asaduddin Owaisi are working like a team and fooling the people of Telangana.
In a tweet posted on Monday, the 48-year-old Gandhi scion called Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) the ‘B’ team of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) its ‘C’ team.
“TRS is the BJP’s ‘B’ team & KCR operates as Mr Modi’s, Telangana Rubber Stamp,” he wrote.
“Owaisi’s, AIMIM is the BJP’s “C” team, whose role is to split the anti BJP/ KCR vote,” added Gandhi.
Rao is the Chief Minister of Telangana and the president of the TRS. Owaisi, the MP from Hyderabad is the chief of AIMIM.
“Great people of Telangana, Modi, KCR & Owaisi are one. They speak in twisted tongues. Do not be fooled by them!” wrote Gandhi.
The Congress chief’s tweet came amid the intense heat of the Telangana assembly elections 2018, which, as of now, is witnessing a four-cornered fight with BJP, Congress, AIMIM and the ruling TRS taking jibes at each other in political rallies.
Gandhi’s claim that the AIMIM is the ‘C’ team of the BJP comes a day after Owaisi slammed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the latter’s comment on Sunday.
“India is my father’s country. Nobody can force me to flee,” was how MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday reacted to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s comment that if BJP comes to power in the Telangana, Owaisi will have to flee.

“It is my religious belief that Prophet Adam when he descended on the Earth from Paradise, he came to India. Thus India is my father’s country and nobody can force me to flee,” the Hyderabad MP told an election rally of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) on Sunday night.
Speaking at an election rally of BJP earlier in the day at Tandur, Adityanath had said that if his party comes to power in Telangana, Owaisi will flee the way Nizam had to flee Hyderabad.
Owaisi said the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister was ignorant of the history as Nizam did not flee Hyderabad.
“Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan did not flee Hyderabad. He was made ‘Raj Pramukh’ and when there was war with China, he offered his gold to India,” said Owaisi.
