Putin plays with f ire in his new doctrine
Of late Vladimir Putin has shifted Russia’s nuclear doctrine to a more directly and openly retaliatory posture in response to any attack by Ukraine or any NATO country using longer-range US missiles.
Sangay cautioned the Tibetans that providing information about citizens of your country to another country is a crime while referring to the Tibetan man in Sweden who was charged with espionage in April 2018.
Central Tibetan Administration president Lobsang Sangay said Chinese agents are deliberately spreading misinformation and rumours to create friction in the Tibetan community.
Addressing members of Tibetans at the Tibetan Canadian Culture Center in Toronto, he advised the public to be socially responsible in sharing information via social media. “Seventy-five per cent of what is shared and read in social media is useless. We should be aware of such facts and act responsibly. Further, 25 percent in the social media are Chinese agents who are deliberately spreading misinformation and rumours to create frictions in the Tibetan community,” he said.

Sangay said his efforts are bringing tangible results as many world leaders are boldly hosting him despite tremendous pressure from China. And for the first time, the White House and the State Department have allowed publishing of news of their officials meeting with the President.
He said that when China is trying to extend their influence in the world by Belt and Road Initiative, China 2025 Plan, developing Artificial Intelligence and acquiring of intellectual property, Tibetans should ever be united in their fight and refrain from infighting.
