Deepika Padukone’s aww-dorable anniversary post for Ranveer Singh wins hearts
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of Bollywood's most loved couples, known for their strong bond both on and off-screen.
Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married as per Konkani traditions in Italy on Wednesday. They tied the knot in a traditional Konkani wedding ceremony that took place in a villa by the picturesque Lake Como.
The couple got hitched in a private ceremony in the presence of close friends and family, with no media allowed to shoot the wedding celebrations. The theme of the wedding was golden and white and the venue was decked up with floral decorations.
While no wedding photograph of the couple has been released yet, the images that we could lay out hands on are of Ranveer Singh’s sister Ritika Bhavnani and Deepika Padukone’s parents Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone and sister Anisha entering the wedding venue.

Ranveer wore a white and gold kurta and dhoti, whereas Deepika was dressed in a red and gold saree during the wedding, after which the couple enjoyed lunch with their family. The photos and videos show the actors’ team covering their faces with umbrellas.

The couple’s Anand Karaj ceremony will take place today and the theme is red. The two left for Italy on November 10 and their sangeet and mehendi ceremonies were held on November 13, which was graced by singer Harshdeep Kaur, along with Sanjoy Das, Bobby Pathak, and Firoz Khan.

Filmmaker Karan Johar was the first celebrity to wish the couple. His tweet read: “Such a stunning gorgeous and beautiful couple!!!! Nazar utar lo! @deepikapadukone and @RanveerOfficial !! Badhai ho !!! Love you both!!! Here’s to a lifetime of love and joy!”

As per latest reports, the couple will share their wedding pictures on Thursday evening. After returning from Italy, they throw two receptions — one in Bengaluru on November 21 and another in Mumbai on November 28.
