2 terrorists killed in Anantnag, encounters underway in Srinagar, Bandipora
Two heavily armed terrorists were killed on Saturday in an encounter with security forces in the Halkan Gali forest area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district.
Among other arms and ammunition, the terrorist was carrying Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) to carry out explosions from remote locations.
The Army on Tuesday killed a Pakistani terrorist in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from him.
The terrorist is believed to have infiltrated from Pakistan and was heading towards Jammu, sources said.

The Army recovered 5 pistols, 10 magazines, 60 bullets, one AK rifle with 2 magazines, 234 rounds of ammunition, 15 grenades and 12 fuzes of IEDs.
Akhnoor has been a target of terrorists where they attacked military camps in the past.
