Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Wednesday, during the second One Day International (ODIs) match between India and West Indies, smashed his 37th century in the limited overs game. The second ODI match between India and West Indies is being played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
It was also Virat Kohli’s 61st international century. Virat has scored 24 hundreds in the longest format of the game and 37 tons in limited overs game. The Delhi batsman is yet to score a century in the T20Is.
Now, Virat Kohli is just one century short from equalling the record of South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis’ as the fourth most number of centuries in the international cricket. Jacques Kallis has 62 (45 in Test and 17 in ODIs) international centuries to his name.
Virat Kohli now also holds the record of most number of ODI centuries again West Indies team.
