NIA attaches assets belonging to main accused in killing two civilians
The property of Adil Manzoor Langoo was attached in connection with the brutal killing of two non-locals at Srinagar's Shala Kadal in February this year.
During the probe, it emerged that the Imam of the mosque, Mohammad Salman, was in regular touch with a Dubai-based Pakistani national and had received Rs 70 Lakh from the person.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has said that a mosque in Haryana’s Palwal district was built with funds from Pakistan-based terrorist Hafeez Saeed’s Lashkar-e-Taiba.
According to an ANI alert, the probe agency said the Khulafa-e-Rashideen masjid at Uttawar village in Palwal district was searched by NIA officers on October 3.
This comes days after the agency arrested three men, including the Imam of the mosque, Mohammed Salman, in New Delhi in connection with a terror-funding case.

Mohammad Salman, Mohammad Salim, both residents of Delhi, and Sajjad Ahmad Wani of Srinagar were arrested in the case.
During the probe, it emerged that the Imam of the Haryana mosque, Mohammad Salman, was in regular touch with a Dubai-based Pakistani national and had received Rs 70 Lakh from the person, who in turn is connected with the deputy chief of Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation.
Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation is a Lahore-based organisation established by terrorists outfit Jamat-ud-Dawa.
It is a front-end organisation of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a terror organisation proscribed under anti-terrorism law.
The accused person has been receiving funds, being sent by FIF operators and his associates, through hawala operators to further their nefarious activities and create unrest in India and carry out terrorist activities, the NIA said.
