Premier League clubs approve changes to associated party transaction rules
The proposed changes came into play after an independent tribunal found some aspects of the APT rules to be unlawful following Manchester City’s lawsuit.
The Red Devils slumped to a 1-3 loss at the hands of the Hammers on Saturday.
Jose Mourinho handed Ashley Young the captain’s armband for Manchester United’s trip to West Ham United but the English defender was powerless from preventing the Red Devils slumping to a 1-3 defeat in their Premier League fixture in the English capital.
And the veteran defender cut a disappointed fixture in the aftermath of the tie at the London Stadium as he spoke to MUTV:

Young is correct in his assessment that the first goal shouldn’t have stood as Pablo Zabaleta was offside when he crossed for Felipe Anderson.
Had West Ham not scored so early in the tie, perhaps the outcome could have been different, but United still had plenty of time to claw their way back against the Hammers.
However, a late own goal by Victor Lindelof in the first-half left them with a mountain to climb after the interval.
A fine strike from Marcus Rashford gave the Red Devils some hope, but Marko Arnautovic would effectively end their chances of securing even a point with a goal 14 minutes from time.

The dressing room in reportedly divided into two camps and bookmakers have significantly shortened odds on Mourinho’s sacking.
United find themselves in seventh place after seven games played with a paltry total of 10 points.
They could slip out of the top half depending on results over the weekend to further deepen the gloom surrounding the club.
