Giving out the charm of the medieval era, the film is based on Philip Meadow Taylor’s 1983 novel, Confessions of a Thug.
After announcing the name of the film and the list of actors on Monday, the makers of Thugs of Hindostan introduced some characters from the film on Tuesday.
The new look from the epic-adventure drama showcases Amitabh Bachchan in a short clip where he is seen aboard a ship, with an eagle swooping over.
The Yash Raj Films took to Twitter and announced the veteran actor’s character in the film. The tweet read: “Wading through storms & battles, the commander of Thugs has arrived.”

Actor Aamir Khan, who also is a part of the film, shared the post and tweeted “The biggest thug of all !!!”
