HC notice to Odisha govt on removal of chairperson, members of women panel
The Department of Women and Child Development which conducted the performance review of the chairperson and members had found the Commission's performance unsatisfactory.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday announced an additional cash reward of Rs 1.5 crore for sprinter Dutee Chand for winning a silver medal in 200 meters race at 18th Asian Games in Indonesia.
The Chief Minister also announced all support to her for the prepartion of Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
Earlier, Naveen had announced Rs 1.5 crore for Dutee Chand when she won a silver medal in 100 meter event at the Asian Games.

Dutee on Wednesday won the second silver medal in the women’s 200 metres race. Dutee clocked 23.20 seconds to finish behind Bahrain’s Edidiong Odiong, who claimed the gold medal in 22.96 seconds.
