John Abraham and Aisha Sharma starrer Satyameva Jayate got an amazing start at the box office. the film was released on Independence Day (August 15).
The film has collected Rs 59.91 crore in five days of its release. According to Box Office India reports, despite its low business on Day 2 as compared to Day 1, Aisha Sharma’s Satyameva Jayate has managed to collect Rs 10 crore on Day 5, taking the total earning to Rs 56 crore.

Satyameva Jayate has one competition and that’s Akshay Kumar’s Gold. Both films are doing well at the box office. While Gold was released on 3,050 screens in India, John’s action drama Satyameva Jayate was released on 2,500 screens.
Gold and Satyameva Jayate became Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s biggest openers ever.
The year 2018 is turning out to be lucky for John as his previous film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran also did well at the box office.
