Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday accused the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party of creating divisions in society.
Addressing a public meeting at the start of the fifth leg of his famed Jankranti Yatra from Mahendragarh in south Haryana, Hooda said the ruling party BJP’s politics is based on lies, divisions and loot of public money.
Causing divisions in the society is the only thing they have (BJP) accomplished in their four years in power. He also accused the BJP of not fulfilling the promises made to farmers and soldiers.
“Farmers were promised 50 per cent profit for their crops but the BJP betrayed the trust of farmers as they have been forced to sell their crops at throwaway prices. The soldiers were promised One Rank One Pension but they continue to agitate,” Hooda claimed.
