Anubhav Sinha’s courtroom drama, Mulk, that released on Friday is garnering brilliant reviews from audiences who caught an early show of the film. Starring Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu in the lead, the film also has excellent performances delivered by Manoj Pahwa and Ashutosh Rana.

Although the film has just been released, it is clear to all to see which side the audience is swinging towards, as shown by the appreciation tweets pouring in since morning. Taapsee, in particular, has been congratulated for delivering yet another gripping performance, which, according to some viewers, has surpassed her gripping acting in the 2016 courtroom drama, Pink. #Mulk is an important film . As a Indian I was moved and cried watching it. Mulk is Garam Hawa and #Zakhm of our times. Because of @anubhavsinha tweets many will assume movie to be pro Muslims but only side this film takes is of this Mulk.
