India sees over 226 pc surge in startup funding at $596 mn this week
The Indian startup ecosystem bounced back this week in terms of raising funds, clocking more than 226 per cent surge with securing around $596 million in total.

Top officials of the two countries also exchanged views on other important issues at the 4th round of their maritime affairs dialogue and the 7th Round of the bilateral consultations on disarmament, non-proliferation and export control which concluded this evening.
The Indian sides was led by Pankaj Sharma, Joint Secretary (Disarmament and International Security Affairs), in the Ministry of External Affairs while the Japanese delegation was led by Ambassador Kansuke Nagaoka, Policy Planning and International Security Policy in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The External Affairs Ministry said the two sides exchanged views on various topics of mutual interest including the Indo-Pacific region, maritime security, cooperation in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR), search and rescue (SAR) and discussed ways and means of further strengthening bilateral cooperation in these areas.
Both sides reiterated the importance of these dialogues as important mechanisms between the two countries for consultations on strategic issues. The next round of the dialogue would be held in Japan.
