As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Race 3 trended solid on Monday despite the marginal drop of 50% as compared to the opening day figure (Rs 29-crore). The film crossed the Rs 120-crore mark in just four days! Something which the acclaimed thriller Raazi took more than five weeks to accomplish. Well, that’s Bhaijaan’s stardom for you.
Now, the latest figures of the film as reported by The Indian Express, is close to Rs 132.76-crore as it earned Rs 12.06 crore on its first Tuesday. Despite negative reviews and trolls, Race 3 still continues to dominate at the box office across the globe. Talking about across the globe? huh!
Race 3 is also performing well in the overseas market, especially in countries like Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. The film has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide in five days.
Love him or hate him, but that’s Salman factor for all the haters who continue to troll the superstar as when the dust settles the ‘Dabangg of Bollywood’ is the last man standing with a smirk on his face and earth-shattering box office records to his credit.
Race 3 is Salman’s 13th consecutive film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in India and the overall fourth film after Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai to do so in the opening weekend.
Directed by Remo D’Souza. Race 3 also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez and Saqib Saleem. The film was released worldwide on June 15.
