Kit Harington: Before getting sober, I couldn’t be proud
“Game Of Thrones” star Kit Harington says he is "lucky" to have kicked his addiction issues before becoming a father because he "hated himself" when he was drinking.
The beginning of the end is not too far. Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, popularly known for her character Daenerys Targaryen, has said goodbye to the show with a heartfelt note. The actress has kind of put out that the fantasy series based on George R R Martin’s books is about to end. Calling the show a “home away from home”, Emilia posted an emotional message as she concluded her journey in GOT.

Clarke took to Instagram and wrote, “Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing ##lastseasonitis”.

Jason Momoa, who played the role of Emilia’s onscreen husband Khal Drogo, reacted to the post. Taking to the comment section, Momoa wrote, “Love u. Proud of you”. Another co-star Lena Headey, popularly known for her role as Cersei Lannister in the show, posted, “Sweet words. Love you and HOLY Balls. #tistheend”.

Meanwhile, the fictional world of Westeros won’t disappear after the mythical saga Game of Thrones wraps in 2019. According to Daily Mail, HBO has ordered a pilot for the untitled prequel, created by author George RR Martin and screenwriter Jane Goldman.
