English giants Liverpool on Wednesday revealed their bold away jersey for the 2018-19 season, which is immediately available for sale on the club store and other online outlets.

The Reds, sponsored by American sportswear outfit New Balance, will be dazzling opposition teams in a striking purple next season whenever they play away from home.

“The New Balance design comes in a deep violet shade, which last featured on the team’s third strip for 2012-13, and provides a striking alternative to the traditional home kit,” the club stated.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will be going all purple, because why not, with shorts and stocks matching their jerseys’ hue.

“The kit adopts the same jacquard linear graphic as on the front of next term’s home shirt, which takes inspiration from the architecture of Anfield’s Main Stand.”

“It is also accentuated by orange branding that highlights key details throughout the strip.”

As is the norm these days for major European clubs, there are two variants of the jersey available for sale.

The ‘authentic’ and the one the players actually wear while playing will set you back a rather steep £70, while the ‘replica’ one is relatively cheaper at £55.

The shorts are common, at £30, as are the stockings, at £12.

“The goalkeeper away shirt has been designed in line with the outfield players’ jerseys, with black patterned sleeves, embroidered logo and crest.”
