Content prevails! That is something we have learnt from the hugely profitable success of Alia Bhatt’s Raazi, which is now inching closer to the Rs 120-crore mark in India.
Meghna Gulzar’s espionage thriller not only opened to a positive response from the fans but also won unanimous praise from top critics. Raazi has truly emerged as the dark horse in terms of box office numbers as the film has delivered a fantastic business in India.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Raazi is looking to close its business in India somewhere between Rs 120 crore-Rs 125 crore. The film earned Rs 80 lakh on Wednesday, taking the total collections of the film to Rs 117.34 crore.

Made on a small budget with no high profile stunt sequences and exotic locations, Raazi has managed to stay relevant in its fourth week where some films even struggle to even cover the budget of the film.
Not only this, but the film’s collections are also noteworthy because Raazi outperformed many films in 2018 by surpassing their lifetime collections in less than a month. The film did this while facing stiff competition from multiple releases from both Hollywood and Bollywood.
Apparently, Raazi has also delivered a memorable outing for Alia. The film is her highest grossing film till date and is the second highest grossing heroine centric film after Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi is based on the bestselling novel Calling Sehmat, and stars an ensemble cast. The film was released worldwide on May 11.
