After a 17-day run at the Box Office, Meghna Gulzar directorial Raazi has now entered the Rs 100-crore club. The Alia Bhatt-starrer moved on a steady pace and achieved the position among the blockbusters of 2018.

Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted on Monday and disclosed the total collections of the film so far. He wrote, “It’s ₹  cr and counting… #Raazi continues to be a STRONG FORCE at the BO… #IPL finals [Sun] did affect the biz, but the [third] weekend total is HEALTHY… [Week 3] Fri 2.25 cr, Sat 4.20 cr, Sun 4.42 cr. Total: ₹ 102.50 cr. India biz.”

Adarsh further listed out Alia Bhatt’s films that were in the Rs 100-crore club.

Meanwhile, at the success bash, Alia was asked about her character Sehmat and how did she manage to perform it so well, she said, “In this film, I needed to be mad about the character and when your director gets and loves your madness, there’s nothing better than that. How vulnerable an actor feels in front of the camera, especially while playing a character like this?”

She further added, “It’s like being surrounded by fire and you can feel the heat even when you are aware that it’s not there. And your director tells you, ‘I know what you are going through. You are not alone and we are in this together’, and this is important that I went on this journey with someone.”

Raazi narrates the story of Sehmat Khan, who is trained to become a spy and then married off to a Pakistan Army officer. Sehmat was on a mission to gather information for the Indian intelligence during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The film is inspired from Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat. Alia Bhatt’s portrayal of feminine yet strong Sehmat Khan drew praise from all quarters.
