BJP will corner AAP govt on public interest issues in Assembly:Gupta
The Leader of the Opposition said that this government has failed on every front.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would launch a campaign to counter the malicious campaign against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government.
Addressing media, state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti said Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur would launch the campaign on the completion of Modi government’s four year term after which such programmes would also be held at district level.
“In the last four years, Modi government has worked for welfare of common masses and over 100 welfare schemes were launched for inclusive development of all,” he said, adding a Jan Sampark Abhiyan would be launched in the state to aware masses about the welfare schemes.

Satti said while corruption and scams were a norm during the Congress led UPA government’s 10 year rule, BJP government had ensured honest and effective governance.
“Now the Opposition parties unitedly are intentionally creating issues of lawlessness, caste divide, communalism to spoil Union government’s image and are trying hard to stop Modi government from coming to power,” he said.
Though such tactics won’t work as people know the truth and they won’t support such leaders who indulge in anti-national activities or had in the past contributed in spreading menace of naxalism and terrorism in the country, he said.
The Central government hadn’t differentiated with any state and Modi had convened meetings with the CMs of all states to redress their issues and concerns.
In addition, the image of the country at international level has also boosted under PM Modi and now the country is working on the policy of taking everyone along.
“While the previous Congress governments selectively engaged in maintaining relations with foreign countries, Modi government hasn’t hesitated in supporting any right causes at international level,” he said.
“It is due to such policies that the base of the party had increased in all states and the party was able to form governments in 21 states which was not even possible earlier,” he said.
Lashing at the previous Congress regime, state BJP chief said after coming into power in 2014, Modi government sanctioned various projects for Himachal Pradesh but the government didn’t implemented the same.
He said the party chief Amit Shah would also visit HP to review preparedness for 2019 Lok Sabha polls and the party is confident of winning all four seats in the upcoming elections.
