Actor Sonakshi Sinha, who pursued her fashion designing course from Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University, reminisced about her interning for photographers, designers and even volunteering as an usher.
While summer vacations are here with students struggling at internships, the ‘Dabangg’ girl, Sonakshi Sinha recalled her days of being an intern.
The actress went down the memory lane sharing anecdotes from her college days and said,” The interns these days are so prim and proper. They are so aware of everything, so focused with their hair and make-up. We used to go as if we just woke up from our beds and just scrammed. It was so much of a hustle but it was a lot of fun actually.” Further speaking on the lines of the soon to-be-launched web series ‘Intern Diaries’ by Grazia, Sonakshi went ahead and spoke about how her internship has influenced her fashion sense as an actress, “Whatever I have learnt, I still use it even though I am not a part of the fashion industry directly, but as an actress, I still remember the things that I learnt.”
Intern Diaries will take the viewers on an exciting and insightful journey of leading fashion magazine Grazia’s astute working culture. The 8-episode web series to be launched on May 15 and will feature Sonakshi Sinha and top designers such as Masaba Gupta, Anita Dongre and Manish Malhotra.
