The announcement came a day after Kejriwal wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi charging Lieutenant Governor Anil Bijal of stalling Delhi government’s premiere CCTV project in the city.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that he has written a letter to Lt Governor Anil Baijal asking him to meet the ministers and legislators on Monday over the CCTV installation issue.
“I have written a letter to the LG and asked him to meet us at 3 p m on Monday,” Sisodia said while addressing a press conference.
Sisodia said that he has also requested the LG to give another time to the AAP ministers and MLAs to discuss the issue, if the given time was not feasible for him.

On 15 May, L-G had formed a committee to come up with a standard operating procedure for installation, operation, and monitoring of CCTVs in the city. However, the AAP government termed the committee “unconstitutional” and declared it “null and void”.
Sisodia said the decision of the L-G to form a committee when the all the formalities were complete to install CCTV cameras is an “attempt” to put the project in “cold storage” so that it would not be successful.
“People are angry as they were expecting that the CCTVs will be installed soon. Several RWAs have been coming to us asking if we are installing the cameras or they will do it themselves from their own money,” he said.
Sisodia said that all the AAP ministers and MLAs will gather at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday and will walk down to the Lt Governor’s house to urge him not to stop the said project.
