Sonam Kapoor’s friends Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar arrived at Anil Kapoor’s house for rehearsals prior to the ceremony. Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and other family members were also spotted getting prepped for the occasion.

On 1 May, the Kapoors and Ahujas issued a statement stating that wedding would be an “intimate affair”. They have requested the media “to respect the family’s need for privacy”. “Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives,” the statement further read.
