Fire in garage, 12 cars gutted in SW Delhi
Nearly a dozen cars were gutted in a fire that broke out in a garage in the wee hours of Wednesday in Dwarka, South West Delhi, police said.
A call was received at 2.48 am about a fire in the parking area and 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was doused by around 4 am, the official said.

Four members of a family died due to suffocation after a fire broke out in the stilt parking of a four-storeyed building in northwest Delhi’s Kohat Enclave, an official from the Delhi Fire Service said.
Three others were injured, he added.

The four members of the family, including two children, were sleeping on the first floor and after they saw smoke emanating from downstairs they tried to escape but were suffocated to death, he said.
