Indian Army soldier killed in Pakistani shelling

Jammu, 11 April. An Indian Army soldier was killed as Pakistani troops initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate shelling in the Krishna Ghati (KG) sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday.
Army spokesman, Colonel Devender Anand, said that the martyred soldier has been identified as Naik Thorat Kiran Popatrao (31) of village Fakirabad Wadi, District Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and is survived by his wife.
Naik Popatrao was grievously injured during exchange of fire and succumbed to his injuries.

Pakistani troops resorted to indiscriminate firing and the Indian Army was retaliating strongly and effectively.
