On the occasion of World Health Day, which is observed across the globe on Saturday (April 7), Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished the countrymen.
PM on Saturday shared a video on his Twitter handle and captioned it: “Good health is the foundation of human progress. This World Health Day, I wish all of you remain in the best health and continue to scale new heights of growth.”

He also added, “I welcome the theme ‘Universal health coverage: everyone, everywhere’ that has been chosen by WHO and others. It is the quest for Health For All that inspired us to create Ayushman Bharat, the largest healthcare programme in the world.”

World Health Day is a global health awareness day which is celebrated under the sponsorship of World Health Organisation (WHO).
This year’s theme is ‘Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere’. The World Health Day focuses on ensuring that all can access essential health services.
