The king of dance in Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan will be performing for the final act of the opening ceremony at the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year.
Hrithik Roshan started his rehearsals on 3 April. The superstar will be seen performing to a medley of hit songs from his movies.

The line-up includes Dhoom macha le, Ek pal ka Jeena, Baware baware, and Senorita among others.
Hrithik has been working hard to perfect his act and make it a treat for all his fans who always find the finesse in his performance unmatchable. His past performances at award shows or at IPL still get views on YouTube as fans keep going back to them.
When asked about this, the superstar said, “Yes I can officially confirm that I will be performing for the opening ceremony of IPL. I have already started rehearsing for it. It will be fun to perform in front of a live audience once again”.
His fans on social media are rejoicing the fact that he will be performing for them again soon.
However, there is a bad news for cricket fans as six out of the eight skippers will give a miss to the opening ceremony.
Earlier, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on 21 March that skippers Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Gautam Gambhir, Kane Williamson, Ajinkya Rahane and the newly appointed Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik do not need to attend the opening ceremony of the cash-rich league.
Mumbai Indian’s captain Rohit Sharma and Chennai Super Kings’ king Mahendra Singh Dhoni are the only two IPL captains who will be present during the opening ceremony of the tournament.
It is learnt that all eight captains will do a special video shoot on April 6 and leave for their respective cities that evening.
Till last year, the convention was to have the opening ceremony a day before the first match, which captains could attend to sign the ‘Spirit of Cricket’ pledge.
