Good Friday is observed each year by the Christians around the world on Friday before Easter. They commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Good Friday at the Cavalry and wait for his resurrection on Easter, which is celebrated the following Sunday. The whole week is observed as a Holy Week, including Holy Thursday and Palm Sunday.
According to the Jewish calendar, each year, the day falls between 20 March and 23 April. Though Jesus died on the day, it is still GoodFriday because some believe it led to his resurrection as well. Meanwhile, some believe the word Good is also used in the context of the term sacred.

Good Friday marks the end of 40 days lent and begins the celebration of Easter on the following Sunday. Easter, also known as the Resurrection Day, is celebrated after the third day of Jesus’ death.
