The first official poster of Gippy Grewal’s upcoming film Subedar Joginder Singh is out, which has piqued the curiosity of fans.

The film is said to be a biographical war drama set in the backdrop of 1962 Indo-China war based on the life of Indian soldier Subedar Joginder Singh.
Gippy’s upcoming film is being helmed by Simerjit Singh, who belongs to the same region of Moga where the subedar was born.
Ever since the announcement of the film and first look of Gippy’s character, the film has generated quite a buzz among cinegoers, who are looking forward to watch this epic war drama.
The film is one of the most expensive Punjabi projects as it depicts the authentic era of 1962.
Subedar Joginder Singh was extensively shot in Rajasthan, which is nearly 100 km from the Indo-Pakistan border, to give a look of pre-independence village of Punjab.
The film is all set to release on April 6, 2018.
