Ranbir Kapoor on reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Love And War’
Ranbir Kapoor teams up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 17 years for 'Love And War', alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
Actor Sonam Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya back in 2007, says she is not Bhansali’s kind of actor.
Sonam has come a long way in a decade old career with her fair share of hits and flops. But that didn’t stop the actor from making a significant mark in the industry with films like Neerja and Pad Man.
But why the actor believes that she is not the kind of actor Bhansali would prefer to work with is a revelation for the fans that they need to know.

In an interview to HuffingtonPost, Sonam said: “I don’t think I am his kind of actor. That’s what it is. I am eternally grateful to him for giving me my debut but I just don’t think I am his kind of an actor. If he thought I suited something, I am sure he’ll cast me again.”
Infact it’s her contemporary Deepika Padukone, who also started her career at the same time, who has become Bhansali’s leading lady as the director and actor have worked together in three films in the last five years.
Nonetheless, Sonam is grateful to all the directors that she has worked with in the past for giving her some of the best films of her career.
“I’ve worked with the best. For Mehra (Rakeysh Omprakash) sir, I am willing to bend backward. With some people, you just share a great relationship. It’s easy. I know what they want, and they know what I can deliver,” said Sonam.
On the work front Sonam will be next seen in Veere Di Wedding alongside Kareena Kapoor and is also busy shooting for Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga alongside her father, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
