Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated on Sunday evening the Magnetic Maharashtra Investors Summit 2018. In a gathering full of industry captains from India and the world, the PM praised the Maharashtra government of contributing to the growth of the country.

Addressing the Summit, global business leaders showered praises on the Modi government and the Maharashtra government led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for transforming the business environment in the country.
They praised the governments for bringing in a positive change in the infrastructural and overall development of the country.
“The future of Maharashtra is a rosy one,” said Ratan Tata while praising the initiatives by PM Modi and Fadnavis.
Mukesh Ambani praised PM Modi’s “visionary leadership” which, he said, has inspired the country and people. He also announced an Integrated Industrial Area in Maharashtra which will come up at a cost of Rs 60000 crore.
Anand Mahindra requested that the PM should also lay down his dream for transformation of cities such as Mumbai just like he has declared his plans for transformation of villages adding that investors will support the dream.
“Maharashtra is to India what America once used to be to the world,” he said.
Among the foreign business leaders who expressed confidence in the BJP governments were Steve Bresnon, Cho Hyun Joon, Gil Ho Bang, and Richard Branson among others.
Bresnon said that Hyperloop will soon become a reality in Maharashtra. A link between Pune and Mumbai will reduce travel time by 26 minutes.
