Winds likely to bring mercury further down in the Delhi
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert predicting a dense to very dense fog over Delhi-NCR for Monday morning.
It was a misty Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 11 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average, the weather office said.
“The sky will be partly cloudy with mist in the morning,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 86 per cent.

The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 26 degrees Celsius.
At least 14 trains were cancelled, five were rescheduled and 23 were running late due to fog in different parts of north India, according to Railways.
The maximum temperature on Wednesday settled at 26.9 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.9 degrees Celsius.
