IOA finalizes dates for National Games 2025 in Uttarakhand
IOA has constituted five different experts committees to make the country's mega sporting event successful in Uttarakhand.
The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) on Tuesday named Vikram Singh Sisodia as the Chef de Mission for the 21st Commonwealth Games to be held at the Gold Coast in Australia.
Sisodia, who will be embarking on this major assignment, is currently the Joint Secretary of IOA. The Games are slated to be held between April 4 and 15 in the second largest city of Australia, which is a part of Queensland.
IOA also appointed three team managers, including Namdev Shirgaonkar, General Secretary, Modern Pentathlon Federation of India, Captain Ajay Naarang, Chairman of the Event Committee of Asian Sailing Federation, and VA Shiyad, Secretary General of Andeman & Nicobar State Olympic Association, who will accompany the Chef de Mission.

The three team managers will help Sisodia in the execution of day-today duties during the Games.
IOA President, Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra, wishing Sisodia and team managers well said he was confident that the four officials would discharge their duties and do a great job during the Games in Australia. “The officials nominated by IOA deserve this opportunity. I am sure they would take good care of the Indian Contingent. I wish them all great Games.”
IOA secretary general Rajeev Mehta echoed the president’s views. “Though the job is new to Sisodia and his team of officials, I know their capabilities as administrators. I am quite assured they would discharge their duties to the satisfaction of all concerned,” said Mehta.
