Aamir Khan: “Today’s youth is eager to solve societal problems”
Aamir Khan highlights the enthusiasm of today’s youth to address societal issues, stressing the role of training in effective problem-solving.
Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar has surpassed the record of Dangal and earned Rs 110 crore in two days after its release.
Last year, Dangal, based on wrestler Geeta Phogat’s life, was a hit at the Box Office. The film also went on to top the chart in China. Now, Zaira Wasim’s film, which had Aamir Khan in the supporting role, has become a chart buster in China.
The China Box office stated, “Secret Superstar opened in first place on Friday with an estimated 41 million yuan ($6.4 million), easily besting Dangal’s 15 million yuan opening day to score the biggest debut ever for an Indian film in China.”

Dangal managed to earn $12 million in its opening weekend, whereas Secret Superstar exceeded the opening day total the very next day. It has earned $17 million in just two days at the Box office.
Secret Superstar revolves around the struggle of a 14-year-old girl who wants to be a singer. She goes against her orthodox father and rebels to fulfill her dream. The film released in India on 19 October 2017.
