A BSF head constable, RP Hazara, from West Bengal was killed when Pakistan Rangers indiscriminately targeted Indian posts in the Samba sector of the Jammu division on Wednesday.
According to media reports, Pakistan Rangers opened sniper fire at Indian positions at 4.15 pm injuring a head constable identified as RP Hazara, who was a resident of Tamara in Murshidabad.

He succumbed to injuries, while being treated in a hospital for his wounds. Hazara is survived by his wife and two children.

The BSF retaliated in a strong and effective manner, according to media reports.
