Premier League clubs approve changes to associated party transaction rules
The proposed changes came into play after an independent tribunal found some aspects of the APT rules to be unlawful following Manchester City’s lawsuit.
United’s 3-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium was marred by Pobga’s red card!
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was shown a straight red card by referee Andre Marriner in the Red Devils’ 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday night is now set to miss next week’s massive Premier League clash with leaders and derby rivals Manchester CIty.
Pobga, who had only just come back into the side after retuning from a hamstring injury, left his studs’ imprint firmly on Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin’s leg and was promptly given his marching orders in the 74th minute. His dismissal turned an otherwise faultless showing (Pobga had two assists) into a forgettable one as he went in for an early bath.
A straight red card for violent conduct means an automatic suspension for three games which would mean Pobga will miss United’s next game against City on December 10 for sure.

Depending on what the FA decides, the Frenchman could miss a Premier League clash with Bournemouth on December 14 and an away trip to West Bromwhich Albion on December 17 as well.
United can contest the ban, but if the Football Association (FA) decides it is an frivolous appeal, Pobga could be out for an even longer time.
Since Pobga was given a red card in a domestic game, he is free to play United’s final UEFA Champions League Group A game, a home tie against CSKA Moscow, on Tuesday.
