Mercury rises by 2 degrees in Delhi
The national capital saw a surge of 2 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in the past 24-hours on Monday, the weather department said.
It was a misty and cold Saturday morning in the national capital as the minimum temperature dropped to 7.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the average.
“The sky will remain partly cloudy in the day ahead,” an India Meteorological Department official.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 92 per cent and visibility stood at 1,000 metres.

The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 26 degrees Celsius.
Friday’s maximum temperature settled at 26 degrees Celsius, the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was 8.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the normal.
