After suffering an innings and 239 runs defeat in Nagpur, Sri Lanka sought god’s backing for the third and final Test to be held in Delhi, starting December 3.
Sri Lankan captain Dinesh Chandimal along with his teammate Dimuth Karunaratne on Tuesday visited Nagpur’s Dikshabhoomi.
The duo performed a pooja at the Dikshabhoomi and later visited Bhodvriksh.

In Nagpur, Chandimal played responsible cricket as he scored a half-century each in successive innings of the Test match.
Karunaratne, on the other end, scored 51 runs in the first innings but lost his wicket for just 18 runs in the second innings.
