India prioritises national and human interest in its foreign policy: PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said India prioritises both national interest and human interest in its foreign policy.
She is a socialite, a model, real estate developer, a reality show star, has her own fashion brand, and is the adviser to world’s most powerful man — President of United States Donald Trump — who happens to be her father. Ivanka Trump, who turned 36 on October 30, defies age when it comes to what she has achieved.
Ivanka is leading a delegation on November 28 to Hyderabad to attend the 8th edition of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, a brainchild of former US President Barack Obama. Ivanka will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders. Her visit has already created a buzz in India.

The theme for this year’s summit is ‘Women First, Prosperity for All’ with focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering global economic growth.

She was born to Donald Trump and Czech-American model Ivana Trump. Her parents separated when she was 10. As per biography.com, Ivanka decided to try her hand at modelling at 14 and eventually walked the ramp for some of the world’s top brands, including Thierry Mugler, Versace, and Marc Bouwer.
She however didn’t find her calling in the modelling career and moved towards the family’s real estate business. After graduating from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Ivanka spent two years working at a real estate development firm prior to joining the Trump Organisation. Along with her two older brothers — Donald Jr. and Eric — she also co-founded the Trump Hotel Collection, a luxury hotel management company. She cemented her celebrity status by appearing alongside her father and brothers as a co-judge on NBC’s reality show Celebrity Apprentice.
Interestingly, Ivanka has supported both the Republican and Democratic Parties since she started taking interest in politics. In 2007 she backed Hillary Clinton’s presidential run and is a friend of Chelsea Clinton. In 2012 she endorsed Mitt Romney for president. And when her father threw the hat in the ring in 2016 presidential election, Ivanka played a key role.
She has stood by her father like a rock even as his comments put her on the defensive. Donald Trump was elected as the 45th president of the United States on November 8, 2016, and Ivanka in March 2017 said she would become an unpaid employee of the White House.
Ivanka is married to real estate developer and entrepreneur Jared Kushner. The couple has three children.
