K Kavitha questions Modi’s silence on Adani US bribery indictment
Political opponents are arrested without evidence and put on trial for months while Mr Gautam Adani walks free despite repeated and grave allegations, she said.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj called on visiting Afghan President Ashraf Ghani here on Tuesday and discussed issues of bilateral and regional interests.

Ghani arrived here on Tuesday morning on a daylong working visit during the course of which he will also meet President Ram Nath Kovind and hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ghani’s visit also assumes significance as it comes a day after US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson made an unannounced visit to Afghanistan.
Tillerson will arrive here on Tuesday evening in what will be his first visit to India in his official capacity.
