RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Monday said his party will stage protests against demonetisation across Bihar on November 8.
“We will hold rallies in all 38 districts in Bihar,” the former Bihar Chief Minister told the media here.
“Last year on November 8, Prime Minister Narender Modi announced demonetisation that not only claimed the lives of over 100 people but also affected one and all.
“The RJD will organise rallies across Bihar on the completion of one year of demonetisation and will ask the BJP to explain to the people its benefits.”
He said demonetisation had created joblessness, slowed down businesses, hit hard farmers and common people. “Demonetisation has harmed the country.”
