Premier League clubs approve changes to associated party transaction rules
The proposed changes came into play after an independent tribunal found some aspects of the APT rules to be unlawful following Manchester City’s lawsuit.

Defending champions Chelsea had to dig deep on Saturday to beat Watford 4-2 in their Premier League and their manager Antonio Conte was all praises for his players after the full-time whistle sounded at Stamford Bridge.
“Good character, good spirit, good desire to fight and to try to win,” Conte said of his players at the post-match press conference.
Chelsea had lost their last two Premier League games on the trot and were looking at a third straight loss when they went 2-1 down in the second-half to Marco Silva’s men.

However, the Blues rallied to score three second-half goals to snap a three-match winless streak (all competitions) in style.
“I have to praise them because it wasn’t easy. When you are not used to losing two games in a row, it’s not simple. Today the game was very tough against a good team in a good moment of form with a lot of confidence,” Conte admitted as he added, “When we were 2-1 down it was a very difficult moment, maybe the worst moment for us. To come back means these players have great heart and great desire to not accept the situation”.
The Blues’ poor run had seen the pressure pile up on Conte and while he admitted he was feeling the heat, he was adamant that he never thought about getting the sack.
“I feel a lot of pressure, but not this type of pressure if the club decide to sack me. I don’t feel this pressure because I trust in my work. I try to give everything for the club I am working for. I am doing this for Chelsea, I did this last season, I am doing this with my staff this season. Honestly I will never be worried about this, never,” the Italian stated.
