Northern Army Commander asks troops to remain alert during anti-terrorist ops
A junior commissioned officer of the army’s elite special forces lost his life and three soldiers were injured during a terror attack in Kishtwar recently.
Five accused in the terror attack on the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district last month have been arrested, police said on Sunday.
The five include three of the perpetrators of the September 20 attack on the camp in Bannihal area of Ramban, which left one head constable of the paramilitary force dead and an assistant sub-inspector injured.
Four of the arrested belong to Bannihal area while one belongs to south Kashmirs’ Anantnag district.
