Honeypreet Insan the ‘adopted daughter’ of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is reportedly not cooperating during her interrogation, police sources said on Thursday.
On Thursday, Honeypreet Insan was taken to Bathinda– where she was hiding before being nabbed– for investigations into charges of sedition.
According to media reports, Honeypreet might have to undergo a lie-detection test.

She is allegedly not giving answers to the questions posed to her by the authorities, said media reports.
Earlier in the day, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar accused the Punjab Police of “shielding” and thus delaying the arrest of Honeypreet.
“Punjab Police has helped her (Honeypreet) and shielded her. They had the information about her but did not share it with us,” Khattar told the media.

Honeypreet was on Thursday taken to Bathinda– where she was hiding before being nabbed– for investigations into charges of sedition, a day after a court in Panchkula sent her to six days police remand.
Honeypreet, whose real name is Priyanka Taneja, who remained fugitive for 38 days after she was booked by the Haryana Police on charge of sedition, was arrested on Tuesday from the Zirakpur-Patiala highway, about 15 km from Chandigarh.

The court had in September issued arrest warrants against top Dera functionaries — Honeypreet, Aditya Insan and Pawan Insan— after being charged of sedition, inciting violence and being involved in a conspiracy to help Ram Rahim escape following his conviction by a CBI court.
