Winds likely to bring mercury further down in the Delhi
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert predicting a dense to very dense fog over Delhi-NCR for Monday morning.
Delhi saw heavy rains overnight and on Saturday morning with the weather office saying that more rains were likely during the day. The minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 23.5 degrees Celsius, the season’s average.
“Generally cloudy sky is expected during the rest of the day with light to moderate showers likely to occur,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
Total rainfall recorded in the last 24 hours till 8.30 am was 77.8 mm while the humidity was recorded at 98 per cent, the official added.

The maximum temperature on Friday settled at 27.5 degrees Celsius, seven notches below the season’s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average.
