Big B pens an endearing note praising Abhishek Bachchan’s performance in ‘I Want to Talk’
Among the several viewers lauding Abhishek Bachchan for 'I Want to Talk', Sr. Bachchan is also all praises for his son’s performance.
With the ambitious Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime set to be launched on 1 July, the Centre has roped in Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan for its promotion.
In a 40-second advertisement, 74-year-old Bachchan says: “GST is not just a tax, it is an initiative to unite the Indian market.”
The video has been made by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, Government of India.

The Finance Ministry, while releasing the video, tweeted, “GST ~ An initiative to create a unified national market.”
The video starts with Bachchan explaining that GST is an unifying force like the three colours in the National Flag. GST is an initiative to create “one nation, one tax, one market”, he says.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, after the 17th GST Council meeting on Sunday, said, “The official launch of the GST will take place on the midnight of 30 June and 1 Julyat a function in Delhi.”
Senior officials said a mega launch is being planned to celebrate the historic shift to the new indirect tax regime. The venue is yet to be finalised.
The implementation of GST will have a remarkable impact on every sector of the economy, where it is expected that it will increase around 2 per cent of the gross domestic product (GDP) of the country.
